Sangita Bafna received her MBA from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH and is a veteran Sales/Marketing and PR professional.
Her professional experience varies from working for Transtar Industries in Walton Hills, OH, to working for world-renowned Pharmaceutical companies (Eisai, and Novo Nordisk) to being the public relations face at University Hospital – between the main campus and its satellite offices in the community.
Sangita is an active member of the Indian community of Northeast Ohio. She served as the Vice President of FICA (Federation of India Community Associations), after serving as the Editor of its newsletter “LOTUS.” During her tenure at FICA, Sangita organized many fundraisers and social events for the organization. She served as emcee for many of its events.
At present, Sangita serves on the board of Project Seva, an organization that helps the homeless population of Northeast Ohio. In addition, she continues to help raise funds and sell tickets for AIPNO (Asian Indian Physicians of Northeast Ohio) and FICA events (Golf outings/Annual Fundraisers).
Sangita is married and has two adult sons. Sangita and her husband, Dinesh Bafna, are longtime supporters of North Coast Community Homes. Suresh Bafna, a board member for North Coast Community Homes for 12 years, is Sangita’s brother-in-law.
In her personal time, she enjoys dancing, theater (the Broadway Series at the Playhouse Square), traveling, tennis, swimming, skiing, gambling and socializing.
