Pat is a founding partner of Frantz, Ward law firm and Chair of its Litigation Practice Group. He has served as national trial counsel for several companies and is often retained by excess insurers to participate in pending matters. He has extensive experience in designing and coordinating defense strategies and investigation efforts for clients ranging from closely-held corporations to Fortune 100 companies. Pat has tried or closely supervised trial counsel in cases throughout the country.
He advises clients on anti-corruption issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other compliance issues in the U.S. and abroad. He has been named to The Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyer’s, and is consistently rated AV Preeminent, the highest rank, by Martindale-Hubbell.
Pat remains firmly rooted in his community and works with individuals and groups to donate his time and expertise. As a youth and early in his career, Pat Haggerty worked for organizations serving persons with developmental disabilities and also headed up the only west side Head Start program. Pat describes a board opportunity at North Coast Community Homes as “coming full circle.” Pat and his wife live in Westlake and have 3 adult children.
