An executive with vast non-profit and leadership experience, Chris West formerly served as Chief Financial Officer for EDEN, Inc., a Cleveland non-profit providing housing solutions to people facing housing insecurities and homelessness. Before that, he held positions in both resource development and finance over nine years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland. Former positions have also included Director of Finance for the Greater Akron Chamber and Director of Finance for Cleveland Action to Support Housing. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The University of Akron.
Karl Driggs is the Chief Operating Officer at North Coast Community Homes, responsible for acquiring, managing design, renovation, and maintenance of NCCH properties. Prior to his appointment as COO, Mr. Driggs served as Chief Operating Officer for Main Street Gourmet for three years. He was previously CEO of BVO Group, a $30 million dollar for-profit engineering firm. He’s also held positions in human resources, operations, and finance in a variety of businesses and industries.
Karl received his BS/BA in Marketing and Finance from Ashland University. He holds as a guiding principal to “lead with love” and promote the best in individuals so they can reach their full potential. He is dedicated to his family and takes enjoyment in music, sports, and spending time with his adult children.
Jim Lasher joined North Coast Community Homes as Chief Financial Officer in December 2016. He has transitioned into the CEO role as of February 2019. Jim brings extensive financial and management experience including 13 years as CFO and COO for the Elevation Group of Companies, and 13 years as CFO of Belkin Productions / Clear Channel Entertainment. Mr. Lasher also served on the Senior Staff of Arthur Anderson & Co.
He’s a Trustee of PetFix of Northeast Ohio, and former treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Benedictine High School. Jim holds a degree in Accountancy from the University of Miami (Ohio) where he was a standout baseball player.
Jamie Van Doren is North Coast Community Homes’ Chief Marketing Officer. He joined the team January 2018. Jamie has dedicated over 20 years of his career to understanding how to support organizations in ways that leverage and communicate their strengths, realize their values, and, ultimately, grow. His background spans customer support, sales, marketing, strategy and business start-up. He’s helped support and grow a variety of organizations like the Ritz-Carlton, General Electric, SunMicrosystems, Case Western Reserve University, and the telos institute. As a problem solver, with an outcome driven approach, Jamie has helped grow both mature and start-up organizations.
Jamie earned his BA in Psychology from CWRU. He’s taught Kung Fu since 2003 and has continued to personally compete at the national and international level. In 2017, he competed against athletes from 9 different countries and took home a gold medal in Shuai Chiao as part of the US Team.
As the Chief Marketing Officer for NCCH, Jamie hopes to support the organization in realizing its vision to be the leader in fulfilling the housing needs of persons with disabilities, expanding the brand footprint of NCCH, and helping the for-profit ventures initiatives succeed.
