By purchasing a raffle ticket the purchaser agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations. NCCH’s interpretation and application of the Rules and Regulations shall be final. The drawing for one Holland America Line Cruise Certificate will be conducted by NCCH on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. EST by NCCH ’s CEO and President or NCCH’s VP of Development. The drawing is open to the public, but the winner does not need to be present to win. The winner will be notified in writing, by email, or by telephone. All contact attempts shall be made to the address, email, and telephone number provided by the raffle ticket purchaser. 100% of the proceeds will go to support NCCH’s programs and services for adults with disabilities. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions. Participants should check federal and state tax treatment with their respective tax advisors. The winner of the Holland America Line Cruise Certificate assumes all fees, local, state and federal taxes (including but not limited to income taxes based on the value of the chosen cruise). NCCH takes no responsibility for any tax liabilities and we recommend consulting your tax advisor for any additional questions.
