On Saturday, September 12, 2009, the second Home Sweet Homes benefit was held at the Hanna Estate in Bratenahl, the home of Judi and Tom Embrescia. The Presenting Sponsor for this gala event was The Rick Osborne Family, Orwell Natural Gas Company, John D Oil & Gas Company, Orwell-Trumbull Pipeline and Cobra Pipeline.
The 625 guests were warmly welcomed by Mr. Embrescia, who opened his home for tours. In the back of the estate, situated on the lovely shores of Lake Erie, two large tents were erected for the evening’s entertainment, consisting of dinner catered by Gavi’s, dancing to the music provided by the TCB Band and live and silent auctions.
The night was perfect, and with the dedicated commitment of the benefit co-chairs, Ronald D. Holman II, Esq., Susan E. Stephens, M.D., Joseph J. “JJ” Scaravilli and Heidi Scaravilli and their committee members, this event raised over $350,000 gross in support of the mission of North Coast Community Homes.
